Our FoundersInspired From The Start

Inspirant Group, Inc. was founded in 2017 by three unconsultants that were looking to build something new to redefine consulting.

Co-Founder

I knew there was a better way. It had to be a new approach that stripped away the bureaucracy and unneeded complexity that I experienced as an industry executive. I wanted to build a team of unconsultants.

To realize this dream, I asked Meg and Chris to take a chance on this idea. It was a different way of thinking. Complete transparency. A unique culture fueled by our definition of an unconsultant. I’ve loved watching this kernel of an idea grow into the company that it is today, and I can’t wait to see how it evolves from here.

Meighan Newhouse

Co-Founder

It took me a whole two seconds to say yes when Amir asked me to join him on this journey. I’ve always wanted to build something that was bigger than me and a place where people loved coming to work.

This desire has been my focus. We’ve created a people-first organization and we’ve carefully crafted this culture of unconsultants that I hold very dear to my heart. People are my passion, whether it’s our internal team, our clients, or the community at large. I know it’s the foundation of what we’ve built and what will allow us to grow and thrive for years to come.

Chris VanAvermaete

Co-Founder

Opportunities to improve business often lean on technology as a cure-all, but true success relies on a holistic approach that addresses process and people first. To serve our clients in the right way, we needed to assemble a diverse team that brings together all three dimensions.

It’s important to me that consultants add value, rather than extract value, which I’ve seen so often in the past. The team of experienced, multi-faceted professionals that we’ve assembled embodies that mentality – and in my mind, this is the best way to solve the problems we face in the market today.

We care about the greater good. It's one of our corporate values, but it is more than that. It gets to the heart of who we are. We are dedicated to doing what we can to better our communities and help others in need.

Each year on the Inspirant Day of Service, all team members spend a fully-paid day giving back to the community by serving a non-profit organization in the Chicagoland area.
